Hallo-TEEN- how we celebrated Halloween in this crazy not so fun year
Right from when we were kids we were told not to take candy from strangers. But there is that one day of the year when it is perfectly fine to do that! Many of you might not celebrate Halloween, and that's okay, but for those of us that do, we all know what October 31st means: candy, costumes, and fun with friends. Most of us participate in the tradition of going door to door dressed up in costumes to get candy. We start planning months in advance about what costume we want to wear, which friends we will go trick or treating with and dreaming about all the candy we get to collect. But in 2020, with the COVID- 19 not willing to just go away, Halloween wasnt the same. Although many communities and cities allowed trick or treating with restrictions, families were reluctant, as this meant risking their children getting sick.
